The Solution

Solution We Provide

The system turns bandobast into one connected digital workflow: plan on a map, pull staff from every station, send duties instantly and track coverage live.

Map-Based Planning

Draw zones, sectors and duty points on a map; saved templates for recurring events like festivals and processions.

Central Personnel Database

Each officer's rank, station, skills, leave and current duty status in one view.

One-Click Publish

Duty details go to the mobile app and by SMS, with a printable order as backup.

Conflict Check

Blocks one officer being assigned to two overlapping duties; unfilled points are highlighted in red.

Geo-Fenced Check-in

Officers can mark present only within the radius of their duty point.

Live Control-Room Dashboard

A map of every point marked covered, partly covered or empty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Police Bandobast System FAQs

  • What is a bandobast?
Bandobast is the security and crowd-control arrangement police set up for events such as festivals, processions, VIP visits, elections and rallies. It covers who is posted where, for how long, and with what responsibility.
  • Who can use this system?
The Commissioner or admin office, senior officers who plan the bandobast, police station in-charges, control-room staff and field personnel. Each role sees only the screens and data it needs.
  • Does it work for small and large events?
Yes. It handles a single-station duty with a few officers as well as a city-wide deployment with thousands of personnel across many zones.
  • How are officers informed of their duty?
Through a push notification in the mobile app and an SMS. The duty card shows the event, duty point on the map, shift timing, reporting officer and briefing notes.
